Very moving speech.

Powerful presentation - thank you!
Very rewarding to hear the appreciation the Barnes' have for nurses.
Simply wonderful presentation. Deeply moving. Really got our meeting off on an inspirational foot. Great keynote speakers.
A little long, but sweet story
I had not been previously aware of the story behind the Daisy Awards.
Mark didn't really present.
Over the top experience. I don't think there was a dry eye in the audience. Great job

Wonderful tribute and story for this conference
Great to learn about the Daisy foundation
It was amazing to meet the founders of the Daisy Foundation
This was a wonderful session. I truly appreciated hearing the impact we have from the patient/family end of things.
I love that the past keynote speakers at Congress have been outside of the medical profession but show their gratitude about nursing and the impact nurses and nursing made on their lives. It is uplifting, and he was right, we always say it's just part of our job. But it's a great way to start the conference off in a positive, warm light. Thank you to the whole Barnes Family for sharing their story and the incredible way they honor Patrick every day.

Amazing speakers. Wished there were tissues available
To use their loss to create a meaningful recognition award for those intimately involved in their son's care was impactful. Despite having no medical background they created an award that highlighted one of the five tenets of having a satisfied employee
Excellent, thank you for this very inspiring opening session.
Wonderful presentation
excellent! Uplifting lecture that makes everyone proud to be a nurse
Session was ok. Previous years you have had very dynamic speakers. I found this talk kind of blah jg
I was unfamiliar how DAISY foundation began. I liked the support given to the nurses. The magnets and flowers are great touch. Having the presentation with your coworkers really reinforces how much impact ORL nurses have on family and staff. Also did not realize it was international. When Mark started commenting on the small details that many take for granted, I was in tears.
This should have come with a warning that we would need tissues at the end. This was a very special presentation :)
It was very emotional to hear so many stories of nurses and how much they had impacted patients and families lives. It was fascinating to hear how Bonnie and her spouse transformed such a painful loss in a way to celebrate nurses.
This was a wonderful presentation and confirming to what nurses do and the impact they have on the patients they care for
This was a great, inspirational topic
Loved this presentation. Speaks to the art of nursing care
Great folks. Nice to hear about.

Excellent and meaningful
Great and motivational talk
This session was truly touching, and was a great way to see nursing through the eyes of a patient and their family.
Wonderful and inspiring kickoff to Congress!!!!
What a great way to get the conference started. Great speakers! While I was teary and touched by their story, they made us feel good about ourselves. They were amazing speakers.
deserved to be recognized
It was great to realize how much nurses mean to families. Wonderful meeting the founders of the DAISY foundation, helped me realize one person can make a difference even with the smallest of interactions
Excellent presentation!! Such a meaningful foundation that recognizes when nurses do extraordinary things for their patients.
Excellent presentation!!! So genuine and uplifting - great to hear as a healthcare provider! What a wonderful way to "pay it forward" after their personal tragedy...
Extremely moving presentation! Was delighted to see how many attendees had previously been nominated for daisy award.
Wonderful session. Very encouraging for nursing.
Wonderful presentation! Cried my eyes out--that's why I sat in last row!
Hospitals that offer this award need to more effectively advertise it. I just found out that our hospital has it but I never knew about it.
Very moving story. It may be that we just do our jobs, but there are those that do it with a heart and always from a point of compassion.
