She really got back to the basics, and we all need to remember eye contact at eye level, and being present in the moment. She did a great job!
One of the best presentations of Congress. Great idea speaker had to engage attendees as she did and such strong response/involvement too.

The video was a great example and teaching tool. Makes you think how you are multitasking and need to concentrate on the patient.
I liked that there was a video but I think that having us identify what was wrong with it felt simplified. As an RN I'm quire aware not to take out my phone and start talking on it when giving bad news. I was looking for something more advanced in terms of communication techniques.

I was disappointed that this session focused more on assessment of patient and communication with families than on how to break bad news. It was good, but it just didn't meet my expectations.
I always enjoy Sharon's lectures. She allows time for the sharing of information with the attendees. Excellent!

The speaker shared her own perspective from personal and professional experience. I think having a Palliative/Hospice provider would have complimented her presentation.
